I love movies and I watch a LOT of them! Every movie I watch and every season of a TV series I watch will receive between zero and four stars. When I watch with my other half, you will see a (P) after my star grade and an (M) after his. I'm also (very slowly) adding in my "Best of the Year" lists from 1990 on (for both movies and music), as well as eventually adding the results for my yearly movie awards (1998 on).

FAIR GAME (4-3-11)
Fair Game (2010) - ***
Doug Liman's Fair Game tells the story of Valerie Plame (Naomi Watts), a CIA spy whose identity was leaked by the government as payback for a 2003 op-ed piece New York Times piece her husband (Sean Penn) wrote criticizing the Bush administration. This well-made biopic features strong performances (especially by Penn) and keeps a fast-pace, but suffers a little by skimming over some of the key details in the saga. More admirable than riveting, Fair Game is well-worth the cost of a rental, but should have been a bit longer.
